Whether you find their self-styled “frontier service” endearing or frustrating, this Old Town log cabin is incredibly popular with tourists and locals alike.
We’ll recommend the pan-fried version of whatever you’re having, which comes with sides of hand-cut fries and basic green salad. The sweet-and-salty secret Bullocks sauce is delicious, as are the garlic-laden feta dressing and dill-filled tartar sauce.
You can brave the dinner crowds or usually get the same plate of fish at lunch (for the same price, sadly) without having to wait for a seat. As a heads up, the place closes for a month starting in mid-October.
