After more than a year of frustrating issues for our members, a few months ago we lifted our editorial membership paywall and started building our own. After plenty of hard work by our development team, over the next week we’re phasing it back in. This means our free editorial articles will soon revert to two per month, though the rest of our features, like Jobs North and the EDGE Events calendar, will remain free.
If you’re already a member, we think you’ll find the new login convenient. When prompted, just enter the email address associated with your EDGE account and a password of your own choosing. Once you’re in, simply save your password in your browser for easy access from here on.
Not a member? If you see value in what we do, we need you on our team. We’re lucky to have talented staff and freelancers at EDGE; all of whom get paid. To help convince you to spend your hard-earned money, we’re committed to delivering breaking and in-depth stories you can’t find anywhere else, as well as our daily EDGE Express summary of YK and NWT news. You’ll also get free access to EDGE parties and events.
Ready to join? You’ll get a 30-day trial on any new $59.40/year ($4.95/month) membership or $7.95/month membership. Not happy? Just cancel by emailing info@vergecomms.ca within 30 days and we’ll refund your money. There’s also a free membership available, which offers an extra story/month, as well as the ability to comment and access other members-only features as we roll them out on the site.
Finally, although we store no credit card information at EDGE and work with the world-class Stripe service, some members’ renewals have been complicated by expired credit cards. If this is you, you’ll also be granted an additional month’s access, but we’ll ask for a phone number to sort out your account to avoid credit card information being sent by email.
