Raid Update: City-Wide Sweep Nabs 7 in Total

Names and charges released by RCMP.

Three more “856 Gang associates” were arrested yesterday evening during a traffic stop, the RCMP said late Friday afternoon. This follows four arrests earlier Thursday afternoon in a pair of Yellowknife drug busts, during which police seized 126 grams of Crack Cocaine, 28 MDMA pills and a significant amount of Anabolic Steroids. This brings the total number of people in custody up to seven.

Twenty-year-old Dennis Foster of Yellowknife was among the three people arrested during the traffic stop. He’s been charged with two counts of cocaine trafficking and possession of a dangerous weapon (knives). The other two people are 19-year-olds Jesse Maley and Jacob Feldman, from B.C.’s Lower Mainland. Maley faces three counts of cocaine trafficking and possession of a weapon for a dangerous purpose (knives). While Feldman faces a charge of possession of a weapon for a dangerous purpose (knives); he was previously arrested, last summer, and faced charges of trafficking and assault with a weapon at the time.

RCMP also announced the names and charges for three of the four people arrested in the afternoon raids.

Justin Pelletier, 23, of Langley, B.C. has been charged with:

  • Possession for the purpose of trafficking (MDMA)
  • Possession for the purpose of trafficking (Cocaine)
  • Possession of Marihuana
  • Possession of property obtained by crime

Joshua Petten, 23, of Surrey, B.C. has been charged with:

  • Possession for the purpose of trafficking (MDMA)
  • Possession for the purpose of trafficking (Cocaine)
  • Possession of Marihuana
  • Possession of Steroids

Caitlin Larsen, 21, of Surrey, B.C. has been charged with:

  • Possession for the purpose of trafficking (MDMA)
  • Possession for the purpose of trafficking (Cocaine)
  • Possession of Marihuana

“All of the individuals charged have been remanded to custody and are scheduled to appear in court at a later date,” say RCMP.
