At the Stanton Territorial Hospital Foundation, we raise money to support patient care, equipment and other major needs at our hospital. Basically, when the hospital staff need a piece of equipment not covered in their budget, they come to us and we raise money to help them get it. There’s nothing more important than health care and, based on our past fundraising success, it seems a lot of northerners agree with us!
In the winter, you may be familiar with events such as the Northwestel Festival of Giving, which raised $145,000 this year. Another key fundraiser has been the De Beers Diamond Vacation Raffle, which has raised an incredible $266,000 over the years.
In the summer (like much of the rest of Yellowknife) we play golf, but for a great cause!
Originally organized by the Arychuk family and Air Tindi, the Stanton Territorial Hospital Foundation Charity Golf Tournament has evolved over the years into a key fundraising event for the Foundation, hospital, and the community.
This year’s Stanton Territorial Hospital Foundation Charity Golf Tournament is Friday, June 12. It’s $100/person to enter and while we love teams of four, we’re happy to place individuals or couples on a team.
We only have a few spots left. The entry deadline is Friday, June 5, so sign up soon! Or become a sponsor and get free entry for your team!

We’re still looking for silent and live auction items as well as other great sponsorship opportunities – Banquet/Dinner, Eagle, Hole-in-One sponsors. Sponsors get free entry to enjoy some fun in the sun!

Support the hospital by registering as a team or individual! There’s also a BBQ at the Club afterward, which includes a silent auction and is included with your entry fee.
