Helicopter Golf Ball Drop Raffle
This year we are very excited to announce the Helicopter Golf Ball Drop! A Summit Air helicopter will be lifting off and dropping golf balls over a putting green. There will be six markers on this putting green, and each marker will match a fantastic prize. The closest golf ball to a marker wins! Finning Canada has provided us with 1000 golf balls, so we will be selling 1000 tickets. Tickets are only $20 or 3 for $50, so hurry up and get yours today! You do not have to be onsite on June 10th to win.

The main goal of the Stanton Territorial Hospital Foundation is to raise money in the support of patient care, equipment, and other major needs at our hospital. There’s nothing more important than health care, and as our previous fundraising success has shown, it seems a lot of northerners agree with us!  All money fundraised from the golf ball drop and tournament will go towards supporting our Dialysis Campaign for improved Dialysis services and equipment at the Stanton Hospital.
In the winter there have been events such as the Northwestel Festival of Giving, which raised $130,000 this past year. Another fantastic event is the CIBC Run For Our Lives Event – Walk/Run/Fun, planned for October 2nd, which fund raises for all cancers now. In the past they raised over a million dollars to purchase a mammography machine! Â
In the summer, we hold the Stanton Territorial Hospital Foundation Charity Golf Tournament. This has evolved over the years into a key fundraising event for the Foundation. Just like much of Yellowknife, we enjoy playing golf in the summer, so why not play for a great cause!
This year’s Stanton Territorial Hospital Foundation Charity Golf Tournament is Friday, June 10. It’s $100/person to enter and while we love teams of four, we’re happy to place individuals or couples on a team.

Volunteer
Any volunteer help is greatly appreciated. We are looking for hole in one spotters, people to sell raffle tickets, and assistance with setup/tear down.

Support the hospital by registering as a team or individual! Following a fun day of golf there is a barbecue at the Golf Club included in your entry fee. There will also be a silent auction at this part of the event.
