The K’asho Got’ı̨nę Housing Society (KGHS), incorporated in 2016, is a non-profit society working towards safe, affordable and stable housing for the community of Rádeyı̨lı̨ Kǫ́ (Fort Good Hope). KGHS is governed by a Board of Directors (comprised of Fort Good Hope Dene Band Chief and Council Members) and is supported by an Interagency Committee composed of community service providers, including Elders and social service providers. The Society aims to fill a service delivery gap in housing provision and maintenance and to create a unique model that can be expanded and strengthened over time.
