The NWT SPCA provides year round daily care for homeless pets in the North. We provide support and education for pet owners across the Arctic by providing access to veterinary care through the Community Animal Health Initiative. Volunteers are welcomed daily to help out with dog walking and cat care. Partnering with local schools and organizations such as Inclusion NWT ensures the generations to come understand what is required to take care of a pet and teaches good pet guardianship.

On Giving Tuesday we are raising funds to continue the important work of caring for the hundreds of homeless pets that make their way to the NWT SPCA shelter every year. Funds raised this year will go directly to making sure we don’t have to say “no” to any pet in need, to continue to provide accessible veterinary care for Northern communities and making sure our doors stay open.
