
Description
Buffalo Airways operates King Air 100, DHC-6, B1900D, DC-3, C-46, L-188 aircraft types and is seeking 2 full-time licensed AME to join our team based in Yellowknife.
Responsibilities
• Conducting planned and unplanned maintenance procedures • Perform and document inspection of engines, structural, mechanical, and hydraulic systems • Troubleshoot structural, mechanical, hydraulic and engines to identify and repair defects • Inspecting, servicing and maintaining spare parts inventory • Performing aircraft maintenance in accordance with published procedures • Ensuring that all replacement parts are inspected and properly certified prior to installation • Assuring compliance with all regulatory and company policies and procedures • Organizing and housekeeping of work area and hangar facility • Performing related duties as assigned by supervisor
Qualifications
• Must hold a valid Transport Canada M1 and/or M2 AME license • Current experience on aircraft type preferred; equivalent aircraft types will be considered, and appropriate training provided to those with similar experience • Customer focus with a proven ability to work alone and as part of a team • Manage workloads and work within fixed deadlines • Good communication skills and positive attitude • Able to obtain Transport Canada security clearances • Aircraft Maintenance: 1 year (preferred) • Overtime pay • Company benefits after 6 months of employment • 8 to 12 hour shifts • Days, Evenings, Night and Weekends • Overtime
