Description
The Automotive Service Advisor communicates directly with customers, managing their expectations regarding service. Your automotive knowledge and customer service skills make you the link between the technician and the customer.

Responsibilities
- Respond to customer inquiries over the phone and in person, identifying their needs
- Locate product information for estimates
- Estimate cost and time for repairs
- Increase sales of the service department
- Complete and control the status of work orders
- Schedule car appointments
- Review work orders with customers
- Act as liaison between customer and technician
- Operate computerized work order system
- Maintain professional appearance (uniform, hygiene, grooming & name tag)
- Follow company, store and department policies
- Follow store health & safety program and observe provincial occupational health & safety regulations; report any observed or potential hazards immediately
- Participate in meetings and all training, as required
- Complete other tasks, as required
Qualifications
- Valid driver’s licence in the province of employ
- Ability to provide professional customer service and employee support
- Ability to deal with customers in a friendly fashion and to inspire their confidence
- Ability to work in a team environment to achieve common goals
- Ability to maintain composure and work effectively in a fast-paced, customer-focused environment
- Ability to plan, organize, delegate and follow-up on daily tasks
