The Business Manager is responsible for the management, administration and delivery of all of the Sahtu Dene and Metis Comprehensive Land Claim Agreement from chapter 1-29 as directed by the President of the Techi?q Ltd. The Business Manager must also ensure the programs and services are in order to ensure the needs of the Deline Got’ine Beneficiaries are met in a reasonable, effective and efficient manner.

The Business Manager will oversee the management of Techi?q Ltd and the following subsidiary companies:

• Sahcho Property Development Ltd.
• Grey Goose Lodge Ltd.
• 984252 NWT Ltd.
• 963912 NWT Ltd.
• And 902743 NWT Ltd.

• The day-to-day operations of Techi?q Ltd and it subsidiaries shall be reported to the Chief Executive Officer of the Techi?q Group of Companies. The Business Manager will also intermittently liaison directly with the Executive Committee as well as receive feedback from participants.
• The Business Manager shall see that all orders and resolutions of the Board of Directors regarding business and business development are put into effect.
• The Business Manager shall organize and control the day-to-day operations of Techi?q Ltd and its subsidiaries as well as working with the finance department to ensure that all outstanding accounts are paid up to date.
• With the help of the Executive Committee, the Business Manager shall seek ideal investment opportunities in the Northwest Territories and other places.
• Under chapter 12 of the SDMCLCA, the Business Manager will be required to participate in meetings and negotiations relating to all development within the Deline District and the region.
• The Business Manager must be able to identify and evaluate the socio-economic needs of the participants of the Sahtu Dene and Metis Comprehensive Land Claim Agreement as directed by the president of Techi?q Ltd.
• The Business Manager must build relationships with other organizations and regional boards under the Sahtu Dene and Metis Comprehensive Land Claim Agreement as directed by the President of Techi?q Ltd.
• The Business Manager will be overseeing several employees employed by all subsidiary companies indicated above and dealing with all HR related matters in cooperation with the Senior Administrator.

• Bachelors in Business Management
• 3-5 years experience working with First Nation, Business or Government Environment
• A combination of education, work experience and eagerness to upgrade education will be considered.

• Understanding of the northern and political environment
