A Cashier is responsible for processing cash, debit, credit and check transactions using a cash register or other point-of-sale system in a retail environment

Duties include balancing the cash register, making change, recording purchases, and scanning items for sale.  Associated duties are stocking shelves, receiving stock shipments, regular cleaning of cash, store and washroom areas.

Candidates should be able to display a strong sense of customer service, experience dealing with cash/other sales and willingness to be a team player.
