Det’on Cho Management LP is recruiting for a Director of Business Development to join our vibrant team.  Reporting to the President & CEO, the Director of Business Development is responsible for developing, planning, implementing, and monitoring strategies for business development & operational sustainability.

Your responsibilities & requirements

The Director Business Development is accountable for overseeing and managing business development, partner relations, business improvement, marketing, and sales activities for the Company. As a member of the Senior Management Team, you will work collaboratively with other Senior Managers while having latitude to act independently and make decisions. The Director of Business Development will also be responsible for collaborating with Senior Management on the overall financial operations of Det’on Cho Management LP, Joint Ventures and Subsidiaries, and will work with the Chief Financial Officer to provide accurate information to the CEO and Board of Directors, including analysis, insights, recommendations, budgets and forecasts.

What you’ll need

A successful Director of Business Development will have the following attributes/skills/characteristics:

• Experience in Business Development and/or Business Management.
• Proven ability to work as part of a team and with limited direction.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office with a focus on Excel.
• Proven business analytical skills.
• Very good problem-solving skills.
• Good writing and presentation skills.
• Familiarity with Yellowknives Dene language, culture and way of life would be considered assets.
