The Executive Assistant reports directly to the CEO and is tasked with supporting the CEO, Board of Directors, and AVENS’ senior management team to achieve AVENS’ mission and strategic objectives on an ongoing basis. Education and Experience Requirements
- Training in Office Administration/Office Management
- Three (3) or more years of executive administrative experience
- Experience providing administrative services to a Board of Directors
- Experience in recording meeting minutes
- Excellent English spoken and written communication skills
- Proficiency in all Microsoft Office applications (Word, Outlook, Excel, Powerpoint)
Successful applicants must be able to obtain and maintain a satisfactory Vulnerable Sector criminal record check.

Pay and Benefits
SALARY: $65,130 to $73,827 annually, plus an annual northern travel allowance of $2,278
PENSION PLAN: 8% employer matched defined contribution pension plan

VACATION: 4 paid weeks per fiscal year

This is an excluded position which follows a Monday to Friday schedule. However, the incumbent is required to be available to work non-standard hours from time to time to attend board meetings and other functions as necessary.
