Job Overview: 

Providing a high degree of customer service, the Flight Follower/Scheduler supports a variety of different departments within the company to ensure timely, safe, and efficient operation of the business. This position is responsible for monitoring flight progress, operational information, policy implementation (when required) and pilot time; as well as coordinating flight schedules, amongst other things.

• Aviation or equivalent education/experience is a benefit, but not required.
• Ability to adapt to changes and work in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong problem solving and organizational skills, with a high attention to detail.
• Must be willing to relocate to Norman Wells, NT (furnished accommodations provided).

North-Wright Airways has operated as the scheduled Sahtu Regional connector since 1986, connecting Yellowknife to Aklavik and six communities in between. The scheduled service moves people, mail and freight between the eight communities of Inuvik, Aklavik, Fort Good Hope, Colville Lake, Norman Wells, Tulita, Deline, and Yellowknife. The charter service provides for a unique range of specialized services for government and industry. North-Wright’s main base of operations is in Norman Wells with satellite services in all of the communities. North-Wright operates its wheeled aircraft out of a hangar and office facility in its main base in Norman Wells.
