Responsibilities
- Consistently offer professional, friendly and engaging service - create a positive first impression
- Anticipate guests' needs and do what you can to accommodate those needs
- Use the floor plan and reservation sheet to keep the floor organized and in control
- Keep the Host stand clean at all times
- Ensure menus are clean and in good repair
- Know the areas of the hotel in order to give guests proper direction
- Know daily specials and room service menu
- Ensure tables are set for reservations and for large parties
- Complete room service deliveries
- Work in accordance with the Food Safety Act, Health & Safety Regulations and licensing laws
Qualifications
- 2+ years of Food & Beverage service experience;
- Excellent communication and organizational skills;
- Strong interpersonal and problem solving abilities;
- Highly responsible and reliable;
- Ability to focus attention on guest needs, remaining calm and courteous at all times;
- Responsible Alcohol Beverage Service Card;
- Food Safety Certificate (preferred);
- Must be at least 19 years of age.
