We are seeking a professional, community-minded individual with a sound knowledge of law enforcement to assume the challenging and rewarding role of Municipal Enforcement Officer III.
Responsibilities
Under the general supervision of the Enforcement Operations Supervisor, the Team Lead organizes and directs the day-to-day activities of their respective Team. The Team Lead encourages and enforces compliance to provisions of various municipal by-laws of the City of Yellowknife as well as applicable legislation of the Government of the Northwest Territories. This position involves shift work.
Qualifications
Qualified applicants must possess a two year Law Enforcement Diploma or a minimum of two years law enforcement experience may be considered. A valid Driver’s Licence, Standard First Aid and CPR Certificates are required. The incumbent must possess strong leadership skills to be able to train and mentor new employees effectively.
The City of Yellowknife offers an attractive annual salary range of $78,027.31 - $93,329.47 as well as a comprehensive benefits package including a monthly housing allowance, a defined benefit pension plan and relocation assistance.
