Description

This position contributes to the successful management of digital marketing activities, and manages digital assets including photo and video assets on digital management platforms and ensures related rights agreements are in place.

This position also provides administrative support to the NWT Tourism team to facilitate the effective and efficient operation of the NWT Tourism office and to the Board of Directors.

This position ensures helpful information is provided in a timely and professional manner in response to email and telephone call enquiries from potential visitors who are looking for information to help them plan their trip to the NWT or to help them consider NWT among other destinations and serves as the first point of contact for all visitors to the office in Yellowknife, providing reception and hospitality services for those attending meetings with NWT Tourism staff.

Responsibilities

Working out of the Northwest Territories Tourism office in Yellowknife.

This position supports the Marketing team at NWT Tourism by providing a variety of administrative functions, including the administration of the online Digital Asset Management system.

Supporting the Chief Executive Officer, this position prepares all document binders for the Board of Directors to support successful meetings of the Board.  This position assists the Chief Executive Officer in planning, organizing, and hosting meetings at NWT Tourism.

Serving as receptionist for the organization, this position greets guests to the office, handles enquiries coming into the NWT Tourism Call Centre by phone and email and ensures timely response and tracking of those enquiries that are potential visitor enquiries for quarterly marketing reporting.

This position maintains the office supplies, ensures the staff room, boardroom, office supply room and storage room are organized, tidy, and that office supplies needed to support the staff are stocked in an efficient and cost-effective manner and assists in record keeping of important office administrative contracts, board policies, and other documents.

Qualifications

Ideally the Office/Digital Asset Administrator will have a diploma in administrative support services, marketing, design, or business administration combined with three to five years related work experience. Equivalencies will be considered.
