Northern Mosaic Network is seeking a contractor to complete the development of employee and volunteer policy manuals, develop a volunteer recruitment and retention plan, collect feedback from current and past volunteers, and create a step-by-step process for onboarding and training new volunteers.

Compensation: $7,500

Contract term: ASAP to December 2022

• Comprehensive understanding of Two Spirit, Indigiqueer and gender and sexually diverse communities, people and issues, including lived experience

• Experience writing policy (volunteer or employment)

• Knoweldge of training and onboarding processes for non-profit organizations

• Knowledge of non-profit volunteering, 2SLGBTQIPA+ community programs and NWT employment policies

• Understanding of the non-profit funding landscape for 2SLGBTQIPA+ organizations and NWT organizations
