
Description
Reporting to the Care Supervisor, the Resident Care Team Leader (RCTL) is primarily responsible for ensuring all resident care requirements are carried out and met in a safe, timely and effective manner within the parameters of AVENS – A Community for Seniors policies and procedures, legislated requirements, and accreditation and professional standards of care.
Education and Experience Requirements
- Registered Nurse (RN) or Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) in good standing/eligible for registration with the Registered Nurses Association of the Northwest Territories and Nunavut (RNANT/NU)
- Experience working with an elderly population and individuals with dementia is preferred
- Must be able to obtain, provide and maintain a satisfactory Vulnerable Sector Criminal Record Check
