Description
Start: August 15
Shifts: 4 hours per week (we can be flexible with the shift time; for example after school, or 2 x 2 hour shifts).
Compensation: $18/hr + tip pooling to start
*Tip pooling: To date, tips average around $7-10 extra an hour; however, this is not guaranteed. Tips are pooled and spread between all staff (not owners) and are paid out with your bi-weekly payroll.
Who are we looking for? Someone who is passionate about coffee and wants to learn more. Ideally you have cooking, baking, and kitchen experience. Preference will be given to people that have Level 1 Food Safe (although we will pay for this training if you do not possess it).
Duties: grinding coffee, bagging coffee, boxing up bagged coffee, labeling bags, cleaning and maintaining the roaster & grinder, learning to coffee roast (profiling, cupping, roasting, etc.).
