Come work at Yellowknife's oldest general store!  This position is to work in our Bush Orders department filling large grocery orders.  It will require the lifting and moving of freight and standing for long periods.  You will be required to enter coolers and freezers often in this position.  You must be able to lift up to 50 lbs.  Overtime and working on Saturdays will most likely occur during peak times.

The duties entail filling large grocery orders, lifting and moving freight, receiving and pricing goods, cleaning and stocking the warehouse and front end shelves as well as snow shoveling.  You may be asked to assist in other departments as well.

The applicant must have a grade 12 diploma and a valid drivers license, be able to do heavy lifting, be able to stand for long periods and be comfortable under pressure. Also must be able to read, write and understand English.

We are looking for a team player with a great attitude!

Experience with the L-Boss system and knowledge of the grocery industry would be a plus but we are willing to train.
