Nahanni Construction Ltd. is hiring concrete finishers for our unique and challenging remote project sites. This is an opportunity to work on a rotational basis and experience the thrill and satisfaction of conquering construction tasks in some of the most remote and demanding environments.

• Perform a variety of tasks involving manual labour for concrete projects.
• Clean and prepare job sites, dig trenches, and set braces to support formwork.
• Understand and execute concrete procedures to meet the specifications of the project.
• Setting forms that hold concrete in place.
• Pouring, smoothing, and levelling concrete using a rake, trowel, float, and screed.
• Ensure poured concrete is laid and finished to the highest standard Operate equipment as needed.
• Participate in daily toolbox talks.
• Participate in weekly safety meetings.
• Advise supervision of unsafe conditions or acts that may be a hazard or danger to oneself and other workers.
• Report all incidents/accidents, including “near misses.”

• Ability to lift up to 23 kg (50 lbs).
• Ability to learn quickly and keep up with a tight schedule.
• Flexible and adaptable to change.
• Strong organization and communication skills.
• Able to complete physically demanding work with significant periods of standing and kneeling.
• Some experience working as a concrete finisher is required.

COMPENSATION & BENEFITS
Nahanni is an open-shop Contractor that provides competitive pay and benefits. Compensation is dependent on experience.
Nahanni pays for and books travel to and from the project site. In addition, employees are entitled to a rotational travel allowance.
