Department Information
École Allain St-Cyr provides French first-language instruction from junior kindergarten to Grade 12. It is expected that there will be approximately 185 students and 26 staff members at the school in 2024–2025.
Job Information
As the Custodian you will be responsible for performing custodial duties, and minor maintenance and other miscellaneous duties in order to ensure that the school is maintained as a healthy, safe and sanitary environment for the students, staff and general public.
Maintaining these responsibilities has a direct impact on the ability of students to have a successful learning experience and on the ability of teachers to provide instructions in a positive learning environment. Maintaining a clean and orderly environment will also provide students and staff with a sense of pride in their school and models appropriate behaviour.
To be successful in this role you will typically need the completion of Grade 10 and six (6) months of related experience. Additionally you must possess or able to complete Workplace Hazardous Material Information System (WHMIS) within three (3) months of start date.

The salary range for this position is from $26.37 per hour to $31.50 per hour (approximately $54,850 - $65,520.) plus an annual Northern Allowance of $3,700.
