Job Information
In preparation for unexpected emergency events, the GNWT is seeking applicants for various casual roles to be activated in the event of an ongoing emergency response to provide additional capacity and relief for initial front-line responders and support staff. Successful applicants will be maintained in a database specific to Emergency Response.
The support roles consist of a wide range of activities including:
- Emergency Response Administrative Support
- Operations
- Planning
- Logistics
- Finance and Administration
If you have skills and experience in any of these areas and are interested in helping with the GNWT’s emergency response please submit your resume and cover letter.
Additional qualifications for some roles include having a valid Class 5 drivers license. Incident Command Training will be considered an asset.

Salary Information
The salary for casual employment is dependent on duties assigned, plus a pro-rated annual Northern Allowance.
