• Determine the size of food portions and costs
• Prepare and cook complete meals or individual dishes and foods
• Supervise kitchen staff and helpers
• Clean kitchen and work areas
• Address customers' complaints or concerns
• Ensure that food and service meet quality control standards
• Maintain records of stock, repairs, sales and wastage
• Cook menu items in cooperation with the rest of the kitchen staff during service
• Stock inventory appropriately
• Ensure that food comes out simultaneously, in high quality and timely fashion in
• accordance with company expectations and standards
• Ensure proper portion, arrangement, and food garnish of dishes
