Northwest Territories Health and Social Services Authority – Yellowknife Region (NTHSSA) is one of eight health and social services authorities established by the Department of Health and Social Services in the Government of the Northwest Territories.
NTHSSA – Yellowknife Region delivers and administers Population Health, Primary Health Care and Social Services programs in the communities of Dettah, Fort Resolution, Lutselk’e, Ndilo and Yellowknife.

Job Information
The Rehabilitation Services Program Assistant provides administrative and clerical support to the Manager and professional staff of the Child Development Team (CDT), Physiotherapy (PT), Occupational Therapy (OT), Speech Language Pathology (SLP) and Audiology (AUD) units and their patients. The Program Assistant will maintain a confidential system for medical records and caseload monitoring for Rehabilitation Services while preparing patient files and current data, coordinating appointments and schedule changes, and monitoring attendance and non-attendance in accordance with the Rehabilitation Division's discharge policy.
Typically, the above qualifications would be attained by:
A diploma in medical office management, or three (3) years relevant experience in a medical or health care setting and as well as completion of a medical terminology course.

The salary range for this position is from $34.20 per hour to $40.85 per hour (approximately $66,690 - $79,658) plus an annual Northern Allowance of $3,700.
