Job Information
The incumbent is responsible for cleaning, disinfecting and providing laundry services in accordance with the facilities procedures and u universal precautions protocol. The incumbent maintains a safe, clean and sanitary environment for staff, clients and visitors.
To be successful in this role you will need to have the following knowledge, skills and abilities:
- Read and write English
- Ability to work with minimal supervision
- Ability to be flexible and adaptable to the work environment
- Physically able to meet the demands of bending, lifting and twisting positions.
- Knowledge and application of current procedures and protocols.
- Sensitivity to cultural diversity.
Typically, the above qualifications would be attained by:
Completion of Grade 12 and 2-3 years experience working in a health care facility.
Equivalencies will be considered.

Relief Worker
This job opening is for a Relief position where there are no established hours of work on a daily, weekly or monthly basis and may be required to report to work on an as and when required basis for facilities where services operate on a daily basis throughout the entire year.
