Job Information
The Coordinator of Staff Education/Safety Training will be responsible for managing, planning, designing, and conducting all mandatory clinical education for health care/social services professionals in the Nursing, Diagnostic Imaging, Laboratory, Respiratory, Pharmacy, Health Records, Rehabilitation Departments, Social Services and Community Counselling.
- Expertise in Adult Education (instruction and facilitation skills)
- Experience in developing, planning and implementing clinical programs to health professionals and evaluation methods in the health care field.
- Ability to demonstrate communication skills.
- Knowledge of professional standards of practice and legal components of clinical practice.
- Experience working in a cross-cultural environment.
- Demonstrated leadership skills, strong critical thinking, communication and interpersonal skills.
Typically, the above qualifications would be attained by:
- Master's Degree in Nursing Education or Administration 3 years' experience in Adult Education
- 5 years' experience o Nursing Education in an Acute Care hospital setting
