The initial job duties the Employee will be expected to perform will be the following : The driver will be expected to perform the following:

• Training: Learn all aspects of furniture moving/delivery operations including driving, handling, delivering, safety, and processes.
• Regulations: Become familiar with the tariff that regulates moves in the Northwest Territories
• Moving/Storage: Become familiar with the household goods industry methods and techniques.
• Fleet: Inspection of truck daily and note any repair requirements.
• Client Relations: Regular courteous and professional interaction with customers and warehouse staff. Discuss issues or concerns and take needed action to improve performance.
• Sales: Promote Best Movers in the community by seeking and fostering relationships with current and potential clients, organizations, businesses, partnerships, and affiliates.
• Inventory: Maintain uniform, tools, supplies, etc.
• Paperwork: Complete reporting and tracking documents daily.

The Employee agrees to be employed on the terms and conditions set out in this Agreement. The Employee agrees to be subject to the general supervision of and act pursuant to the orders, advice and direction of the Employer. The Employee will perform any and all duties as requested by the Employer that are reasonable and that are customarily performed by a person holding a similar position in the industry or business of the Employer. The Employer may make changes to the job title or duties of the Employee where the changes would be considered reasonable for a similar position in the industry or business of the Employer. The Employee's job title or duties may be changed by agreement and with the approval of both the Employee and the Employer or after a notice period required under law. The Employee agrees to abide by the Employer's rules, regulations, policies and practices, including those concerning work schedules, vacation and sick leave, as they may from time to time be adopted or modified.

Qualifications: The successful candidate will have 2-3 years of experience in repair/maintenance of heavy equipment. Equivalent combinations of education and experience may be considered. Other requirements include:

• Strong commitment to safety
• Valid Class 5 Drivers License
• Strong interpersonal and communications skills and the ability to work as a team member

Some tasks may require the ability to travel and meet customer site requirements.
