Yellowknife is a welcoming community of about 20,000 based on a geographical location that provides residents incredible access to outdoor activities including world-class fishing and paddling, or over the winter months skiing and snowmobiling. As the Territorial Manager, Information Systems, you will provide direction to the information services program and staff to ensure quality patient care for the NWT. Reporting to the Director, Informatics and Health Technology, you will develop the vision, mission, goals, and policies for the Information Services department, guiding the provision of services for the Stanton Territorial Hospital's strategic and operational goals. From pandemics and outbreaks to natural disasters, your work will have a direct impact on the Northwest Territories Health and Social Services Authority's ability to deliver front-line services.
The ideal candidate possesses theoretical and practical knowledge of computers, networks, and information management principles and practices, as well as analytical, research, project management, and communication skills. To be considered for this role you must have a degree in Information Management and seven years of directly related experience.

Salary Information
The salary range for this position is from $58.88 per hour to $70.34 per hour (approximately $114,816 - $137,163) plus an annual Northern Allowance of $3,700.
