Festival Coordinator for the 18th Old Town Ramble & Ride Festival from August 2-4, 2024
The festival Coordinator will be responsible for all of the tasks involved with organizing,
managing and running a successful three-day festival.
Reports to: Old Town Community Association board members.
External contacts: City contacts, businesses, general public, volunteers, contractors, etc

Position Type: Part & Full-Time
Position Duration: March-August (PT March to mid July and in August, FT two weeks in July)
Compensation: Range $8000-$10,000 Depending on experience.

Responsibilities

● Organize, attend, and manage first monthly, then weekly and/or by-weekly meetings with the OTCA board.
● Report to the board and obtain final approval on specific matters.
● PT hours from March- mid July. FT hours weeks leading up to and during the festival. August 2-4. PT in     August.
● Coordinate all elements of the festival.
● Be able to follow a set budget then ensure all invoices are paid.
● Complete multiple final reports in a timely manner.
● Coordinate up to 35 volunteers.

Qualifications

● Reliable.
● Excellent interpersonal skills, even temperament, ability to supervise effectively.
● Strong organizational and management skills.
● Strong communication and marketing skills.
● Computer, and social media skills.
● Ability to handle a fast paced environment with many disruptions.
● Ability to recruit and manage volunteers and coordinators for smaller roles.
● Willing to work various hours leading up, during, and after the festival.
● Comfortable with physical activity during setup and teardown.
● Punctuality with deadlines and final reports.
