Job Information
Nestled on the shores of Great Slave Lake, you would be providing and coordinating interpretation services for French-speaking patients/clients of Stanton Territorial Hospital, the affiliated clinics and other community health facilities. You would be collaborating with other Health and Social Services in the NWT to provide effective and consistent interpretation services throughout the territory. You would also be expected to develop and deliver medical terminology workshops for health and social services providers throughout the Health and Social Services (HSS) system.
To be successful in this role you would have a diploma from a recognized French/English Interpreter program or equivalent training along with two years' experience interpreting in a health care setting.

Salary Information
The salary range for this position is from $42.77 per hour to $51.08 per hour (approximately $83,401 - $99,606) plus an annual Northern Allowance of $3,700.
